Sketchcrawl

Yesterday was Sketchcrawl! We braved the snow and cold to go drawing at the Natural History Museum. It was beautiful outside, but too slippery. I hurt my knee and my foot.

There were lots of hyper, annoying but cute kids at the museum. They were drawing pictures too. I liked painting bugs in the Hall of Biodiversity, even though the fake rainforest in that room always reminds me of Generation Jets.

You did great sketches!! I love the bugs (did I say that???lol) and the sketches of the animals and the statue are super! Too bad you can't get them to load directly to the sketchcrawl website. It isn't the easiest thing to do.

These are really great. I love how you're able to paint using the negative space. You make volume without lines and that's impressive.

i love your water colors here. especially the water color deer is so pretty, sophysticated, communicates the shape and feeling of the animal with simplicity, i think. i would love this picture in my next calendar
