 Spent the day painting at Wave Hill, and then ate delicious seafood at the Dutch.  :D

Another painting from Costa Rica

I started painting this one on the beach, but our neighbors were too smokey so we gave up and left.
I finally got around to finishing it up. We didn't have our cameras on us so I just had to think/guess/imagine what it looked like.  :P

Watercolor

After seeing the Sargent exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, I took out some fancy watercolor paper and tried to paint from a photo.

I cheated a little. I cut out some grass from an old watercolor painting.

Costa Rica Sketches

We went on a lot of amazing hikes, saw lots of birds, and occasionally had some time to sketch.
Our first hotel, in Arenal,  had an amazing balcony looking out onto Arenal Volcano.

sleep no more

An attempt to do some Sleep No More inspired artwork...but I think it looks more like Scoobie Doo.
