More Dr. Sketchy Burlesque drawing

We went to Brooklyn again for burlesque sketching. Today the model was a roller derby girl. It was fun, but roller skates are hard to draw.
However, drinking hot cocoa with Kahlua comforted me as I struggled drawing.

No, she doesn't have gigantic wierd areolas with no nipples on her breasts... she has pasties!

You know, you usually have the better drawings. I'm glad you like them, even if you hate me.

Is this an actual model set up, or do you go to a burlesque club? I'd just find it hard to do the drawings if she's moving all the time.

It's specifically for drawing. "Dr. Sketchy," as they call themselves, are couple of people who run these burlesque drawing sessions at a lounge in Brooklyn.

They do a mix of 5, 10 and 20 min poses. If it was an actual show I probably could still draw, but they'd never be this detailed.

those came out great! That looks like a cool place to draw, mabye in the summer I'll visit and we can all go together. There is an art Gallery in Cambridge that offers drawing nights with nudes. Might check it out...I need to get back in the loop again!

Great drawings Cynthea! I like the top one and the red marker one best. I also like your explanation of her pasties, lol.
